Blitz:
Today I passed the last damn exam for the previous semester and now I am officially a 4th year student of the specialty “Information and Measurement Engineering and Technologies”. Oh yes I am, oh yes son of a bitch!
In addition, today I finished and recorded an Ode to the League of Pluses. It didn’t turn out very cool, but it’s enough to get acquainted with for now, but I’ll definitely do a re-recording for the sake of quality.
In addition, the core of the narrative about “The Patient” has formed in my head. New episode is here.
Amnesia takes out all the Betmac-casino.uk brains and puts them on a shelf. I savor every moment of this insane powerlessness, fear and other sausage. Maybe I’m a sadomasochist?
Future plans
As Pavel Kashin used to say, “The topic of the day has exhausted itself, turning into a blunt end.”. So, I’ll give you a couple of plans regarding what I’m planning for the near future. The terms of the next literary competition will be announced on Wednesday. There will be a prize.
So, secondly, I decided to write a review of “Sin City”. I don’t know if it’s necessary, but I want to.
Thirdly, that idea about a podcast about guessing the hero of a computer game, which I talked about, turned out to be incredibly difficult to implement, so I can’t give an exact date for the appearance of at least the first episode.
I have a question. What makes games scary?? Not frightening in the manner of Dead Space (although after the middle it stops frightening), but SCARY, like Penumbra, Amnesia, the Silent Hill series (from 1 to 4, did not play 5)? When you’re scared to just take a step. You know that you will take this step, you know that they are unlikely to blame monsters on you at the very beginning, but it’s still scary to take a step.
Please share your thoughts on this matter in the comments.

What makes games scary??
Unknown. Mystery. Understatement.
If you see a puddle of blood on the street during the day, it will cause disgust rather than fear, and if you return home late in the evening, then all sorts of bad thoughts begin to appear in your head.Setting, mood, surroundings.Surprise.For example, there is a rustling sound, there are no pools of blood, intestines and other joys of a young surgeon. There is an empty house from the old owners, who naturally did who knows what, but there are no corpses with traces of evil experiments. There are only various such half-hints, well, essentially rustling sounds – there is no blood, but there are locked doors. There is a basement, there is a tomb.Scary dreams. It’s all somehow pressing, you’re constantly waiting for corpses to rain down on you, blood to flow from the taps, and a ghost to crawl out of the toilet and bite you in your place… But this is not there and it’s catchy: Oh Now, if I came to an abandoned old house, in which everything seems to be in order, but at the same time something haunts me, I would also feel at least uncomfortable 🙂
Friends, take up stalking (aka industrial tourism), and wander through abandoned farms, or better yet, populated areas. You’ll get a LOT of emotions
